Hi, we’re here in Italy! We’ve already spent two days in Rome, an afternoon in Assasi, and an evening in Perugia. Having a great time; we only made it three days without internet access though; tonight we broke down and paid 4 Euros ($5.25?) for internet access on the hotel TV. I had to look up “Anti-pope.”
Italy is about great food, old buildings, cars and pedestrians cheek-to-door on the road, and more saints than you can fit in a stadium.
No pictures yet; this hotel computer has no slot to connect the cameras. Ciao!
Noelle and I tied the knot yesterday (Sept 16th) at Amarante’s in New Haven.
Highlights:
- Weather was gorgeous!
- Accidentally started the ceremony in the middle, and said “I Do” about 5 times each.
- Ceremony interrupted by mating seagulls - “Mom, I don’t think those birds are fighting!”
- Afterparty interrupted by full immersion baptism in the hotel pool (Marie: “A baptism? Yeah right, and I’m sure that guy’s blessing the water?”)
I only have two pictures up - the bride and I with my Aunt Margie, and the bride and I with her parents:

More to come! PS - We leave for our honeymoon in Italy on the 25th.

Brian left for the peace corps in Tanzania on June 12th, 2006. He’ll be there for at least 27 months; this is a video we made before he left:
